Dr Soh Shean Han is an orthodontist with Specialist Dental Group®. She received her specialty training in Orthodontics from University of Washington-Health Sciences School of Dentistry, USA. She is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer with National University of Singapore and a Associate Staff at National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore. Dr Soh has a special interest in orthodontics and dental public health.
Dr Soh believes orthodontic treatment is more than just aesthetics. It can have a real impact on the quality of life for patients even at a very young age. She recalls how a 7-year-old felt so embarrassed about his missing front teeth. He had impacted upper front teeth (buried central incisors) in the jaw bone. Through braces treatment, the buried teeth were finally brought through the gums. Dr Soh never forgets how both patient and mommy were so happy and grateful.
