Bad bites and crooked teeth are not just aesthetically less pleasing, it is also harder to maintain good oral hygiene. Individuals may experience speech problems and have issues with chewing certain foods.
Jaw surgery improves one’s facial appearance, chewing function and prevents jaw joint dysfunction. It helps correct the alignment of a person’s jaws and teeth when these are not positioned correctly or when there is a discrepancy in the jaw size. As all procedures are performed inside the mouth, one does not have to worry about visible scars on the face caused by the procedure.
