Our patient services team
Our friendly multi-lingual Patient Services Team is often the first to greet you when you enter our clinic or answer your call when you phone for an appointment or an enquiry.
Yvonne Ee is the Manager of Patient Services. She responds to online enquiries, online appointment bookings, and other matters related to patient services. Yvonne formerly worked in customer service and administration before joining Specialist Dental Group. She speaks English, Mandarin, and other Chinese dialects.
Helen is our Senior Front Office Manager in Orchard (Unit #08-04/03) and has more than 30 years of experience working in the healthcare industry. She is a trained Dental Assistant and has passed the Dental Surgery Assistant examination conducted by Guy’s Hospital in London, UK. Helen speaks English, Mandarin, Chinese dialects and Bahasa. Nancy is our Front Office Manager in Orchard (Unit #08-04/03) and has more than 25 years of experience as a Dental Assistant. She has worked with both general practices and specialist dental clinics. Nancy speaks English, Mandarin, and several Chinese dialects.
Nengsi is our Front Office Manager in Gleneagles. Originally from Indonesia, Nengsi worked in customer service prior to working as a dental assistant. She is fluent in English, Bahasa, Mandarin, and several Chinese dialects.
Our nursing team
Our experienced dental nurses come from a diverse background – many were trained and practiced as dentists in other countries, while others were trained as hygienists and medical nurses. Among the nationalities represented in our nursing team are Singaporeans, Koreans, Filipinas, Burmese and Malaysians. Patients can feel at ease with their friendly smiles.
Lee Lee is our Senior Nurse in Orchard and has more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare field. She was trained as a Staff Nurse at Nanyang Polytechnic, and is a qualified Dental Nurse. Lee Lee’s healthcare experience includes working in both medical and dental clinics. She is responsible for nurse training for new nurses. Lee Lee speaks English, Mandarin, and Chinese dialects. Celia is our Senior Nurse in Orchard and graduated from the Centro Escolar University dental school in the Philippines. She practiced for 13 years as a dentist in the Philippines. She moved to Singapore in 2004 and has many years of experience working in a multidisciplinary dental practice. Celia speaks English and Tagalog. Read more about Celia here.
Vicky graduated from Centro Escolar University dental school in the Philippines. She formerly worked with a non-governmental organization in the Philippines giving free dental services for the elderly. Vicky has worked with various specialist clinics in Singapore and speaks English and Tagalog.
Lavinya has been a dental assistant for more than 7 years. She worked at the National Dental Centre prior to joining Specialist Dental Group®. She is a graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) Dental Surgery Assistant course and has a Diploma in Psychology from Kaplan University. Lavinya speaks English, Tamil, and understands basic Mandarin
Rochelle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Medicine, from New Era University and Our Lady of Fatima University in the Philippines. She then practiced as a dentist in Philippines before moving to Singapore and joining Specialist Dental Group. Rochelle speaks English and Tagalog.
Abby graduated from the University of the East College of Dentistry in the Philippines. She worked as a dentist in the Philippines before moving to Singapore. She has more than 5 years of experience as a dental assistant. Abby speaks English and Tagalog.
Liza graduated from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) in Singapore with a NITEC in Nursing. Prior to joining Specialist Dental Group®, she worked in hospitals and as a paediatric dental assistant. Liza also helps to train nurses in assisting with children’s dentistry. Liza speaks English and Bahasa.
Soo Lyn has over 6 years of experience as a dental nurse. She previously spent several years working in retail and has a National Certificate in Dental Assisting from the Institute of Technical Education. Soo Lyn and speaks English, Mandarin, and several Chinese dialects.
Muni graduated with a Diploma in Nursing as a staff nurse in Malaysia. Before joining Specialist Dental Group, she worked as a dental assistant for three years and an enrolled nurse in medical and specialist clinics. She speaks English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and Bahasa Indonesia.
Meiying graduated from Taunggyi University, Myanmar. She has more than seven years of experience as a dental assistant and she speaks English, Mandarin, Burmese, and Thai.
